Slow Fried Chicken

Now this one is a simple chicken dish and mildly fiery, goes very well as appetizer with alcoholic drinks. It is so easy that even beginners can easily cook it..

Ingredients:
4-5 chicken drumsticks
5-6 chicken wings
salt, to taste
1/2 tsp crushed peppercorns
1/4 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp chat masala
4-5 garlic cloves, crushed
200 ml oil/ghee

1. Wash the chicken pieces and wipe them dry with kitchen towel.
2. Rub salt and crushed peppercorns on chicken pieces and wrap them in cling wrap and set aside for an hour.
3. Heat the oil in a pan, add chicken pieces and cover with a lid. Cook on low flame for 15-20 minutes. Here we cook the chicken according to poaching method, not frying.
4. Add red chilli powder, crushed garlic and little more salt. Mix it slowly and cover the lid again. Cook for another 10-15 minutes.
5. Take out the pieces with slotted spoon, sprinkle some chat masala and garnish with green chillies and lemon wedges. Serve hot.
